Cambridge Film Festival

On Miles Platting Station will be screening in the 30th Cambridge Film Festival on Sat 25th, in the Taking it Slow programme - 'a programme of journeys by train, through time, space and the history of cinema'.

New Milan film commission complete

My recent film commission 'Dear Foreigner' from Milan's Letters Festival is now complete and will be premiered at the festival in Milan on 10th October. An adaptation of a real letter a woman wrote to her son she gave up at birth, it features the music of caro snatch and Steph Angel, and is beautifully read by Cerrie Burnell. The film is a mixed media animated piece featuring found footage composited with both digital and hand drawn animation.Even the rough cuts have brought many a tear to the eye and lump in the throat so watch out for the full version on the film festival circuit soon.

Girls Guide to Muso Boyfriends screenings

Recent short 'Girls Guide to Muso Boyfriends' will be screening in the main competition of the Open Cinema International short film and animation festival 2010 in St Petersburg, Russia, 3 - 12th September.

One Minute Volume continues...

The One Minute Volume 4, curated by Kerry Baldry (featuring recent experimental short Snowflake )will be screening at the Ukrainian art festival in Koktebel, 7 - 9th September, included in the exhibition 'Future Proof' at the Marseille Project Gallery, France on 18th September and showing at the Plymouth Arts Centre on Tuesday 19th October at 8.30pm, introduced by Kayla Parker and Stuart Moore.

Intermission #1

On Miles Platting Station will be showing at the Intermission #1 event of contemporary moving image and short film. Held at Intermissions gallery in Bradford, Thursday 19 August 2010, 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
