National Poetry Day 2012

I was approached by the Southbank Centre again this year to create some animations for their live poetry event to celebrate National Poetry Day on 3rd October. Based on the theme of 'stars', I created animated typography in the style of constellations spelling out the names of poets such as John Cooper Clarke and Roger McGough.

A Wondrous Place

I was approached by theatre director Chris Meads way back in 2010 to be involved in a new multi disciplinary theatre project called 'A Wondrous Place'. After completing the research and development process last year, the identity design work is now complete and blog up and running.
I will soon be starting the production work of the animated backdrops, ready for the live performances next year. In the meantime there is a guest curator from various arts and culture disciplines on the blog every week: http://northernspirit.org.uk/.
Check out The Guardians write up of the project complete with my published artwork on their blog: http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/the-northerner/2012/sep/17/theatre-grim-up-north-leeds-liverpool-manchester-sheffield

New commission live

I was approached by Milan based SkinCeuticals to create a short film piece based on one of their products. Taking on board the 'beauty in a bottle' theme, this mixed media piece is a composite of found footage throughout the last century.
