'The World Keeps Turning', recent film completed on my artist residency in Icelnad will be screening in the Music and Video programme at the Roxy Bar and Screen on 12th January.
I'll be flying to Sicily this week to showcase a programme of shorts commissioned by Comma Film, presenting a programme of adaptation. Featuring filmmakers and writers such as Tamzin Forster, Gaia Holmes and Simon Armitage, the programme is curated by Comma founder Ra Page. Award winning film When the Telescope Came screens in New York this week at the International Literary Film Festival. An Arts Council funded film, it is an adaptation of the poem by Diana Syder about a woman who tries to stop the stars falling into her house. The work made on my residency at SIM in Reykjavik is now online. The World Keeps Turning is a piece animated entirely from natural found objects found on the Icelandic coast and is about nature and life cycles.

Latest short 'Dear Foreigner' will be screening at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, Germany, as part of the British Shorts programme. Commissioned last year by Milans Festival D'Elle Lettere, it is the animated adaptation of a real award winning letter a mother wrote to the son she gave up at birth. Snowflake will be screening in Kerry Baldry's curated 'One Minute Programme' as part of the London Underground Film Sessions at the Horse Hospital, 6th April, 7.30pm. The programme will also be showcased as part of the Flatpack festival in Birmingham and Fierce Festival on Wednesday 23 March
