London Short Film Festival screenings

The LSFF will be screening two of my films in January. 'Dear Foreigner' will be screening in the Femme Fantastique programme on 7th January at the ICA.

'The World Keeps Turning', recent film completed on my artist residency in Icelnad will be screening in the Music and Video programme at the Roxy Bar and Screen on 12th January.

Comma Film at Magma Festival, Sicily

I'll be flying to Sicily this week to showcase a programme of shorts commissioned by Comma Film, presenting a programme of adaptation. Featuring filmmakers and writers such as Tamzin Forster, Gaia Holmes and Simon Armitage, the programme is curated by Comma founder Ra Page. International Literary Film Festival - New York

Award winning film When the Telescope Came screens in New York this week at the International Literary Film Festival. An Arts Council funded film, it is an adaptation of the poem by Diana Syder about a woman who tries to stop the stars falling into her house.

'Dear Foreigner' came back from Glimmer Film Festival 2011 where it was nominated for Best UK Short and will now be screening at Underwire Festival in November for it's London premiere:

New Icelandic film

The work made on my residency at SIM in Reykjavik is now online. The World Keeps Turning is a piece animated entirely from natural found objects found on the Icelandic coast and is about nature and life cycles.

ReykjavÍk Show

I will be exhibiting in SIM's group show as part of ReykjavÍks Culture Night, Aug 20th 8 - 11pm. I'll be showing new work made in the artist residency as well as a couple of older films along with 9 other international artists encompassing painting, photography, video and installation.

Kaleidoscope Experiment

New one minute cut of early Manchester experimental film 'Kaleidoscope Experiment' has been included in the new 'One Minute Volume 5' programme of artists film and video.

My promo for the Museum of Club Culture has been selected for the Soho Rushes Film Festival in London and nominated for the Broadcast Design award. Featuring the illustrations of Mark Wigan, it showcases the first museum dedicated to music and underground culture.

Melbourne International Animation Festival

Wish You Rocked My World my music video for Hungry Audio's Mia Vigar will be in competition in the Installation programme of the Melbourne International Animation Festival in June. A dark comical love story between two paper dolls, we follow their relationship of chaos and unrequited love.

Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film

Latest short 'Dear Foreigner' will be screening at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, Germany, as part of the British Shorts programme. Commissioned last year by Milans Festival D'Elle Lettere, it is the animated adaptation of a real award winning letter a mother wrote to the son she gave up at birth.

Snowflake will be screening in Kerry Baldry's curated 'One Minute Programme' as part of the London Underground Film Sessions at the Horse Hospital, 6th April, 7.30pm.

I'll be flying out to Vienna in March for the Tricky Women Film Festival where Girl's Guide to Muso Boyfriends has been selected. Tricky Women is one of the biggest international animation festivals showcasing female animators.
