New Milan film commission complete

My recent film commission 'Dear Foreigner' from Milan's Letters Festival is now complete and will be premiered at the festival in Milan on 10th October. An adaptation of a real letter a woman wrote to her son she gave up at birth, it features the music of caro snatch and Steph Angel, and is beautifully read by Cerrie Burnell. The film is a mixed media animated piece featuring found footage composited with both digital and hand drawn animation.Even the rough cuts have brought many a tear to the eye and lump in the throat so watch out for the full version on the film festival circuit soon.

Girls Guide to Muso Boyfriends

My new film 'Girls Guide to Muso Boyfriends' has been accepted for representation on the international film festival circuit by the British Council. The film, which is my first comedy, was completed on an artist residency in Berlin this year after previously been written in London and recording the music in Manchester. It features the voice over talents of Cerrie Burnell and acting talents of Antonia Turner. Inspired by a misspent youth engaged in the Manchester music scene, it documents the characters cultivating these kind of cultures. An extract can be viewed on Vimeo:
